Job Title: Big Data Platform Developer
Function: Cybersecurity Practice
Reports to: Data Platform Lead
Minimum Experience:
4–6 years of experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Hands-on experience with data parsing and transformation of different formats (JSON, CSV, XML).
Strong knowledge of data ingestion frameworks, database systems (SQL & NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience in building and maintaining big data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
Solid understanding of system architecture, distributed systems, and microservices frameworks.
Experience with cleaning, normalizing, and structuring large datasets for analysis.
Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or platform-native visualization capabilities.
Proven ability to generate detailed dashboards and analytical reports.
Strong documentation skills for maintaining technical specifications and development artifacts.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Parse and inject large datasets into the big data platform for processing and analysis.
Normalize raw data into structured, clean datasets suitable for visualization and reporting.
Develop and implement visualization techniques to present insights and trends effectively.
Generate comprehensive reports to support decision-making for stakeholders.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and developers to integrate and optimize datasets.
Contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of the big data platform architecture.
Build and automate data pipelines for streamlined and real-time data processing.
