Job Description

Role Summary

Digital Forensic and Incident Response Specialist

  • Conduct digital forensic investigations on various digital media.

  • Utilize specialized forensic tools and techniques to analyse digital evidence and extract pertinent information.

  • Recover and analyse deleted, hidden, or encrypted data from digital devices.

  • Employ forensic software and hardware tools to extract and interpret data from storage media.

  • Reconstruct digital timelines and meticulously document findings for investigative purposes.

  • Prepare comprehensive forensic reports documenting findings, analysis, and conclusions.

  • Provide training and mentorship to junior forensic analysts to support the section head.

  • Collaborate with the section head to develop and improve forensic analysis procedures and methodologies.

    Job Specifications

    Desired Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, digital forensics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Language Requirement

    Desired Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in incident response and digital forensic field.
  • In-depth knowledge of using forensic tools, methodologies, knowledge of operating systems, networking, scripting, and programming.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Knowledge sharing: performing internal session workshops for the team.
  • Specialized in one or more of the following domains:
  • DFIR: Host Forensics
  • DFIR: Mobile Forensics
  • DFIR: Network Forensics
  • DFIR: Cloud Forensics
  • DFIR: OT Forensics
  • DFIR: Audio/Video Forensics
  • DFIR: Mobile Forensics, Malware Analysis (Malware Reverse Engineering)

Certifications

  • Encase Certified Examiner (EnCE)

  • GIAC Battlefield Forensics and Acquisition (GBFA)

  • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)

  • GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE)

  • GIAC Cloud Forensics Responder (GCFR)

  • GIAC iOS and macOS Examiner (GIME)

  • GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA)

  • GIAC Response and Industrial Defence (GRID)

  • (ISC)² Malware Analysis Certificate
