Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operations Support Lead to oversee the smooth operation, performance, and reliability of the TASMU Platform, a cloud-based national smart city initiative. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technical professionals, manage platform operations on Azure/Google Cloud, and ensure the system’s scalability, security, and compliance. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with strong technical, analytical, and strategic planning capabilities who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the TASMU Platform, ensuring high availability and reliability. • Lead, mentor, and manage the operations and support team to maintain service excellence. • Monitor and optimize platform performance on Azure/Google Cloud, including resource utilization and cost management. • Establish and manage incident response and problem-resolution processes for critical issues. • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards in collaboration with cybersecurity teams. • Perform capacity planning to support scalability and future growth. • Coordinate with vendors and technology partners for seamless platform integrations. • Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, procedures, and operational workflows. • Identify and implement process automation and optimization opportunities. • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. • Support adoption of ITIL and service management best practices. • Manage operations budgets, including forecasting and expenditure tracking. • Prepare and present performance reports and operational KPIs to senior management. ________________________________________ Key Competencies: • Strong leadership and team management abilities. • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps principles. • Proficiency in incident management, performance optimization, and problem-solving. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and risk management practices. • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth and improvement opportunities. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies. ________________________________________ Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Experience: • Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical operations management, preferably in cloud-based environments. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform services. • Certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect are preferred. ________________________________________ Preferred Tools: Azure-Native Observability & Monitoring: • Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics (KQL), Application Insights, Azure Monitor for Containers, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy & Azure Advisor. ITSM & Collaboration: • SymphonyAI ITSM, Microsoft Teams (incident war rooms, alerts, reviews). Reporting & Dashboards: • Power BI, Azure Monitor Workbooks, Excel (Power Query), SharePoint, Confluence. Governance & Cost Management: • Azure Resource Graph, Azure Cost Management + Billing, CMDB, and Service Discovery tools.
