Job Summary:

The Acceleration Manager - Telecom will lead and oversee acceleration programs that foster the growth and success of startups, innovative projects, and new business ventures within the telecommunications sector. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the acceleration process, from program design and execution to mentorship, funding support, and partnership development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telecom and a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, with the ability to guide early-stage companies toward growth and market success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Leadership:
• Design, develop, and manage acceleration programs tailored for telecom startups and new ventures.
• Lead the selection and onboarding process for startups participating in the acceleration programs.
• Startup Mentorship:
• Provide hands-on guidance to startups, helping them refine their business models, products, and market strategies with a focus on telecom innovations like 5G, IoT, mobile infrastructure, and telecom software.
• Mentor startup founders and their teams on scaling operations, customer acquisition, and fundraising.
• Partnership Development:
• Build and maintain relationships with telecom operators, investors, technology partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Facilitate introductions and collaborations between startups and potential partners or clients in the telecom space.
• Strategic Guidance:
• Advise startups on regulatory challenges, market entry strategies, and growth opportunities within the telecom industry.
• Support startups in securing funding, crafting pitches, and accessing resources such as R&D facilities, testing environments, and telecom networks.
• Performance Management:
• Set performance metrics for participating startups and monitor their progress throughout the acceleration program.
• Analyze program outcomes and iterate on the acceleration model to continuously improve success rates.
• Event Coordination:
• Organize workshops, demo days, pitch events, and industry networking sessions to connect startups with investors, partners, and customers.
• Market Intelligence:
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in the telecom industry and ensure the acceleration programs are aligned with emerging market demands.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in telecom, innovation management, startup acceleration, or venture capital.
• Proven track record in leading or mentoring startups, particularly in the telecommunications or technology sectors.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of telecom technologies (e.g., 5G, IoT, mobile networks, cloud computing).
• Excellent leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, investors, and entrepreneurs.
• Knowledge of startup funding mechanisms, venture capital, and early-stage business challenges.
